The "Ecomusée d'Alsace" (Alsace Ecomuseum): explore Alsatian culture
The Alsace Ecomuseum is a reconstitution of a real Alsatian village, with 73 houses which were dismantled and rebuilt here. It will present various events throughout the 2008 season.
The park invites us to celebrate the pre-Lent carnival and relive popular Easter traditions: search for the Easter hare and take part in the Easter Monday egg race… and many other events.
And, as usual, the craftsmen and women demonstrate their trade, you can take boat or cart trips, just as it was in the early 20th century.
A delight for children to discover old-time Alsace..

Hotel and holiday rental village "Les Loges de l'Ecomusée"
"Les Loges de l'Ecomusée" is a hamlet of 10 half-timbered houses in the heart of the village, in a country setting and privacy is respected. Indeed, ten free-standing houses, full of character, are installed in tree-shaded, flower-decked streets. The houses, laid out as duplex apartments, are functional and welcoming.
Some have a vast dining room-kitchen with room to design an apartment with as many rooms as you want. The ground floor is furnished with a large bed with head and foot boards, a television and many storage units.
The bathroom, tiled in white, is light and airy. Upstairs, the double bed, bedside tables and a desk, are just as comfortable.
The regional style decoration: furniture in light wood and fresh fabrics adds to the relaxing, welcoming atmosphere.
