This land will enchant you with its marvels.
Colmar, town of light will delight you with its décor and enhancement of its heritage.
The Land of Stars will take you through Alsatian vineyards seeking historical and wine-related splendours.
The sparkling stars will take you through Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Kaysersberg, Turckheim, Eguisheim, Munster, Rouffach, Trois Epis and Neuf Brisach, with their mulled wine and fabulous local vintages.

Colmar
Hansi's home town is known for its exceptional illuminations and a programme extremely rich in events: 6 Christmas markets occupy the town centre, artists rub shoulders with the "Virgin and the Rose bush" in the Dominican church, the ice-rink installed in its pine forest evokes winter sports and the mountains near by.

Kaysersberg
A typical wine-growing village with its village wall, castle and narrow streets, with lights, ribbons and greenery for the festival, a Christmas market in its purest form, an exhibition in the Arsenal hall, evening events and a concert in the Ste Croix Roman church

Munster
For Christmas, this little mountain town, famous for its Munster cheese, has decided to make "Wihnachtsbredla" or little Christmas biscuits the focus of its Christmas Market; a collection of nativity scenes is presented in the Catholic church

Eguisheim
A fortified wine-growing town, a Christmas market followed by a New Year's market is installed in the little square and the night watchman opens the festivities with a tour of the village at 17:00

Turckheim
Every evening at nightfall, according to Rhenish tradition, the schoolchildren in costumes form a huge procession and open a window on the giant Advent calendar installed in the town centre, with singing, tales and music the night watchman takes over to wish Happy New Year to inhabitants and visitors alike.

In the streets of the fortified village, in yards and porches, fifty nativity scenes bear witness to the creativity and enthusiasm of the inhabitants at Christmas time

The minstrel city invites you to a medieval Christmas market with tankards, jugglers and fire-eaters.

A mountain village which invites you to its St Nicolas Market

Rouffach
A wine-growing town very typical of the Rhenish renaissance (16th century). The artisans will welcome you in a friendly atmosphere and decorated rooms. You will discover the Christmas traditions and the regional gastronomy, follow the demonstrations with the artisans, relax with the music from a barrel organ and taste the full-flavoured “vin chaud”. The children will be delighted by a donkey ride in the old town. A Christmas concert in the Assumption Church will end this enchanting week-end.

Alsatian museums install their Christmas market in front of the Roman Abbey, a replica of the palatine chapel built by Charlemagne at Aix la Chapelle

Pfaffenheim
Traditional torchlight procession the 28th December in the vineyard to the place of pilgrimage Schauenberg followed by a mass in the convent. Meeting place: town hall from Pfaffenheim at 7:00 pm.
