The lanes and houses at the Alsace Ecomuseum put on their winter dress and invite you to experience a village Christmas: farm work in winter, the tepid heat of the cowshed, the scent of hay in the barn…

In the houses, everyone is busy preparing the Christmas delights: Wihnachtsbredle, Kougelhopf, Berewecke, they make straw stars to hang on the Christmas tree, while outdoors, others are preparing little red apples, the christkindle, Christmas tree decorations and greenery to hang in the windows to replace the geraniums… along the trail you can see symbolic characters from an Alsatian Christmas: St Nicolas with his donkey, Hans-Trapp, the terrible bearded one and the luminous Christkindel....

24 of the Ecomuseum houses welcome you for demonstrations
and workshops and are transformed into Christmas shops for the occasion.
Change of scene and pleasure guaranteed…
The Ecomuseum is open Saturday and Sunday from November 28th to December 20th 2009, then every day from December 21st to January 3rd 2010.

This stay includes:

• 1 night in the Ecomuseum Lodgings in a double room
• 1 breakfast
• 1 entrance to the Alsatian Ecomuseum and access to all the Christmas events

This stay does not include:

Your travel to the Alsatian Ecomuseum - drinks outside meals – private expenditure – cancellation insurance – any other service not mentioned. Offer depending on availability and modification according to demand.
