Christmas traditions in Southern Alsace
A cultural and gastronomic holiday in the country. You will be welcomed to a 3 star hotel at Hagenthal le Bas in the heart of the 3 frontiers region in an authentic setting. 26 rooms furnished in warm colours and modern lines, a covered, heated swimming pool and sauna space invites you into a restful atmosphere.
From Hagenthal, you can explore the Saint Louis Christmas market (from 6 to 24 December) where twenty wooden chalets house a multitude of Christmas presents and decorations as well as delicious specialities. You will then visit the authentic Christmas market at Basle in Switzerland, which is held in the historic town centre.
During your stay, you will also visit the BEYELER Foundation which houses Contemporary Art treasures, at Riehen (Switzerland, near Basle) where you can see works by the greatest artists.
This price includes, per person:
- 1 night in a double room in a *** star hotel which is awarded 3 fireplaces by Logis de France
- 1 buffet breakfast
- 1 "Chefs Hat and Corkscrew" dinner (wines included)
- 1 entry to the Beyeler Foundation
- Access to the swimming pool and solarium.

In the town centre, installed in the old quarter decorated for Advent, you will find a fascinating Christmas market with an incomparable atmosphere. Shopkeepers and craftsmen from all over Switzerland and the region offer their goods and pass on their expertise in 140 illuminated wooden houses and stands.
