The Heritage Centre of Alsace
The village where history is revived

he Heritage Centre of Alsace offers its visitors a veritable journey to the heart of the Alsace of yesteryear. In this village featuring 70 authentic houses, they can discover the daily lives of past generations, including their forgotten trades and farm labours, but also all of their popular festivals and traditions, thanks to the 300 volunteers who animate these. After a boat tour through a preserved natural environment, young and old can participate in the fabrication of delicious Alsatian specialities, take a ride on the carrousel at the fairground, meet the village animals or listen to beautiful and authentic Alsatian stories.

le-village-de-lecomusee.jpg The Heritage Centre is a site not to be missed for both tourists and Alsatians. Through its numerous activities, it presents a new face every day: Easter egg hunt, Pentecost parade, nocturnal visits in Summer, harvests and grape-yields in Autumn, as well as decorations and shows at Christmas time.
